In my current research, I want to understand how much branch volume is actually functional. We typically assume it is entire branch. But this turns out not to be the case. This poster I prepared for International Ecological Congress 2022 describes it all in more detail. I particularly like data visualization in Fig. 2 (typically this would be a bar graph, but circular version speaks more truth) and Fig. 3 because an image speaks a thousand words.
